Bio

Leah Brown, b. 1991, and has been a practicing artist and educator for 14 years. She received her BFA from Texas Tech University in 2014. Following graduation, she has completed an art residency in Cowwarr, Australia. From there she worked as a restoration artist in Artworks Gallery in Austin, Texas. She later moved to Daegu, South Korea, and taught art and English to kindergarteners at Bono Language School. She later completed her teaching credentials and moved to San Diego. There she worked as an artist and educator. She has participated in 5 group shows and apprenticed under a printmaker in Oaxaca, Mexico. She has written and illustrated 3 curriculums for children. In 2023 she wrote, illustrated and published a memoir. She continues to write, illustrate and practice printmaking.
